Fact

There are no confirmed reports that former Columbia student and pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil will soon be scheduled for deportation. 

An appeals court has temporarily blocked the federal government from detaining Khalil as his team prepares to bring his case to the Supreme Court for review.  

The characterization of the Columbia pro-Palestinian protests as a riot is inaccurate. No protestor was charged with rioting under New York State law.
